Cleaning Mold From Wooden Furniture
Before cleaning mold in a basement remove and clean any contaminated items such as boxes furniture or clothing.

Use soap and water on painted or stained wood. To clean antique wood furniture and eliminate mold at the same time fill up a plastic spray bottle with warm water and add one tablespoon of baking soda.
Use a white rag to wipe down the furniture where the mold and mildew are. Don t sponge up the excess liquid. Alternatively the wood can be lightly sanded to remove a layer of finished wood and the mold and the wood can be re finished.
